HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY!!

Exactly one year ago today, Ryan, Steve, and I took a leap of faith and opened the doors of Momentum Engineering Group. We shared a vision, a determination to succeed, and a belief that we could build something special.

All I can say is—what a ride it has been!

This first year has been more exhilarating, rewarding, and humbling than we ever imagined. Starting a company from the ground up is never easy, and we have certainly faced our share of challenges along the way. Through it all, we have accomplished more than we ever dreamed possible while staying true to the values that define our company: integrity, quality, and reliability.

As we celebrate our first anniversary, we are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished. In our first year, MEG successfully secured three prime contracts:

  • Quintette Road Realignment – Escambia County

  • SR 89, RRR – FDOT District Three

  • SR 20, RRR – FDOT District Two

In addition to these prime contracts, we have been fortunate to serve in other subconsultant roles, expanding our experience, strengthening relationships, and contributing to projects across North Florida.

None of this success would have been possible without the trust, confidence, and opportunities provided by our clients, teaming partners, friends, and industry colleagues. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the firms that believed in MEG from the very beginning. Your trust and willingness to partner with a new company helped make this first year possible, and for that, we are forever grateful. We look forward to continuing to grow these relationships and building great things together for years to come.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Brian Bloomfield with Anevay Engineering for always being willing to help with any software questions. Your generosity, guidance, and support made a tremendous difference during our start up. We sincerely appreciate everything you have done for us and promise to pay that generosity forward to the next up-and-coming firm.

Most importantly, we want to recognize our incredible staff, Brendan McCarthy and Abby Ensing. Joining a startup company requires faith, courage, and a willingness to embrace uncertainty. Brendan and Abby believed in us and our vision from the beginning and took a chance on a new company. Their dedication, talent, work ethic, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in MEG's success. Quite simply, they are the kind of employees every company hopes to have, and we could not be more grateful to have them as part of our family.

Here's to Year One—and to continuing to build momentum together.
